The period immediately after suffering an unexpected bereavement is likely to be a highly stressful and anxious period for most families or witnesses. Many are unaware of the coronial processes or whether they have any form of claim in respect of the collision.
The Road Victims Trust is fortunate that a number of lawyers with appropriate professional qualifications and experience in the area of fatal collisions, personal injury and coronial law have signed up to the ethos of the Trust and offer limited free legal support to victims and witnesses.
